Warm and creamy baked Brie is a little bit of heaven on a cracker. Or on fruit. Here’s an easy way to add a little sweet and fruity zip and serve up an elegant cheese platter appetizer. You’ll have raspberry sauce leftover for another use. (It was terrific over vanilla ice cream!) Or just cut the recipe in half. Your choice.
- Brie Cheese
- Raspberries, 1 bag frozen, thawed
- Sugar, 1/2 cup or to taste
- Almond Extract, a teaspoon or two
- Sliced Almonds
- Crackers and/or Sliced Fruit
Place the brie on an ovenproof platter or baking dish and put it in the oven at 350 so it can start warming. Meanwhile, combine the berries, sugar and almond extract in the food processor or blender. Whirl until it’s smooth and pureed.
