Fall is in the air! Okay, here in Florida that means we’ve had a few days where the temperature only reaches the upper 80′s. Still, there’s a subtle change lurking about, one that promises cooler days are really on the way. As much as I love summer and summer cooking, I’m ready for a break from the heat outside so I can add a few more warm things to the menu. And what’s better on a cool fall day than a warm bowl of soup? Here are a few 0f my favorites. And be sure to check out more soup and stews in the roundup over there —-> in the sidebar.

Yay for soup! I will definitely add the Beef and Barley, Corn Chowder and Navy bean soup to my list of “to-make” soups. I’m thinking we haven’t even had our summer yet so soup is a far off place but it’s always good to be prepared right?
Beef Barley is on my menu this week, even without cool weather!
