Steamed broccoli is a quick and easy green veggie side dish but it gets boring. Jazz it up a bit with peppers and garlic.
- Fresh Broccoli
- Red Bell Pepper
- Olive Oil
- Crushed Red Pepper
Cut the broccoli into nice-sized pieces.
Slice about half a red pepper into strips.
Crush a couple of garlic cloves and remove skin.
Put the broccoli and garlic in a steamer pan. Add pepper and drizzle with just a bit of olive oil.
Add a dash of crushed red pepper.
Steam just until broccoli turns bright green and starts to get tender.
Remove the garlic (or leave it if you like to eat it) and serve immediately.
