It’s been another week where everything seems to be doing well, even with a little neglect, and another week where we’ll be eating from the garden.
The herbs on the patio are all growing and doing well. And isn’t this lavender pretty?
Tomatoes are finally becoming too numerous to count.
And the tomato plants are finally getting huge.
The cucumber might just make it. I cleaned up by removing most of the damaged leaves and sprayed again with Neem oil. If it doesn’t make much of a comeback I’ll replace it. There’s still plenty of time to get in a second round.
I did the same thing with the squash and zucchini plants.
There are several new baby cantaloupes this week.
More okra is destined for the table this week. I’ll be making Chicken with Okra and Grits again.
The serranos are going crazy. We ate a lot last week and we’ll be eating more this week. I wish the tomatoes would hurry up because together they’d make a terrific salsa!

H2o…..
The main garden gets plenty, thanks to the sprinkler system. It’s the pots that I tend to forget
