I love fruity drinks, whether it’s a sangria, a mojito or the concoction known, at least around here, as The Tasty Strawberry Beverage. Since summer fruits are my favorites, they make the best drinks, including this variation on the strawberry drink.
Just like the strawberry version, this one is good in it’s virgin form too. Just leave out the rum for a light summer refreshment.
- Peaches
- Coconut Rum
- White Rum
- Simple Syrup or Superfine Sugar
- Club Soda
Slice a peach and put a couple of slices in the bottom of a glass and add a bit of sugar or simple syrup.
Muddle it all up to mix in all the yummy peach flavor.
Add a shot of coconut rum.
Add a little white rum.
Top it with club soda.
Float a peach slice on top.
When the drink is gone, be sure to eat the rum-soaked fruit. Enjoy!

YUM! Thank you for telling us that the virgin version is good, too. I will have to make this without rum very soon. It looks so refreshing!
I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for this beautiful blog – i can only imagine the amount of time that goes into this, and I wanted to let you know its definitely paying off. Of all the blogs i’ve seen, this is hands down the most elegant, beautifully photographed and well worded i’ve encountered.
So, thank you, for giving the rest of us something to work towards
Also – the drink looks brilliant. Can’t wait to try it.
This looks delicious!!! I bought some fresh peaches from the Farmer’s Market just yesterday.. I am definitely going to have to give this a try!
Thanks!!

I just made this with blackberries- very yummy. I have been making this since you first posted Name this Drink. I stuck with strawberries and peaches till today. I had blackberries and thought why not?? I may be hooked!
Thanks for the inspiration!

Oh, the idea of a blackberry version is making me drool! I only wish it were easier to get good blackberries and raspberries in FL.
Holy crap – I just stumbledupon your blog and it’s downright amazing! I love the pictures and the tips (specifically, how to handle an avocado – I recently got married and received 2 of the fancy tools that I have no idea how to use!)
Your tips for drinks and dine are great, and I love the Publix brand items involved
Thanks for your time!
The club soda picture is obscenely beautiful.
I tried your Carbonara with roasted tomatoes tonight. Thanks so much for the recipe. It turned out great.
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
