Although cooking and eating and sharing food with friends and family is are big parts of my life, it’s not everything. So, dear readers, I’m asking for a bit of patience and understanding. I’m not ignoring you. I’m just pulled in a different direction for now.
Our family and extended family (which has certainly been known at times for putting the fun in dysfunction!) is pulling together like we always do. Circling the wagons and taking care of one another through some very difficult times. I am still cooking a lot, because the care and feeding of loved ones is no less important than it’s always been. In some ways, it’s become more important. However, I haven’t had much time to create new recipes, much less turn them into blog posts. I haven’t had time to keep up with the wonderful foodie social network out there. I miss it. But, for now anyway, my focus is where it belongs. On family. On sharing. On giving. On being together. On love.
